Both Frankenstein and Terminator have a lot in common. The Terminator is basically a modern-day reiteration of the story Frankenstein. Both illustrate similar scientific, political, and religious themes. Both show the same flaws that mankind is capable of doing. Both Frankenstein and Terminator also show important messages and warnings about what may happen when mankind steps out of his bounds, and when knowledge and power becomes abused by mankind. In Frankenstein Victor creates a monster out of dead tissue, and in Terminator scientists have figured out a way to create robots that act on human supervision. Just like Victor creates a monster, in Terminator man creates a race of monsters that reflect human behaviors. Another similarity between Terminator and Frankenstein is the way that victor didn't think about the consequence's of his doings. And in Terminator the scientist also didn't consider the outcome of their actions. Both can be viewed as critiques of human boldness. Another similarity between these two works is the fact that both Victor and the scientists were so self-absorbed that they didn't once look outside the box and think of the oncoming destruction. In conclusion i have found that both Frankenstein and Terminator have a lot to do with each other and have a great deal of relation. ____ by: KAMINI JAIRAM
